A Mixed Collection of Vintage Art Deco Style and Decorative Ceramics
Description
A varied collection of vintage decorative ceramic and porcelain wares comprising six pieces. The group includes a tall, slender earthenware vase of Art Deco influence, featuring a distinctive angular handle, scalloped rim, and hand-painted orange and yellow floral motifs against a cream ground. Also present are two pitchers: one decorated with a pastel geometric pattern and another featuring bold, earthy-toned horizontal bands in shades of brown and orange. The collection further includes a porcelain pedestal bowl with a pale green ground and hand-painted rose decoration, and two small, irregularly shaped dishes with a vibrant, textured orange glaze and moulded foliate details. These items demonstrate a range of twentieth-century decorative techniques including hand-painting and relief moulding. No maker’s marks are visible; the pedestal bowl bears a small white inventory sticker numbered 9386. Tallest vase measures approximately 28 cm in height.
