A varied selection of six vintage hardback volumes featuring decorative cloth and textured bindings with gilt-stamped titles and flourishes. The collection includes the News Chronicle Golden Treasury in a tan pebbled-texture binding; Newnes’ Everything Within in dark blue cloth with gilt ornamentation, published by George Newnes; Down the Garden Path by Beverley Nichols, published by Jonathan Cape in green cloth; a maroon-bound edition of An Attic Philosopher in Paris by Émile Souvestre; a blue-bound Standard Encyclopedia; and a small cream-coloured volume titled The Bedside Book of Discoveries.
