A Collection of Enamel, Porcelain, and Lacquered Trinket Boxes including Halcyon Days and Two Glass Paperweights
Description
A varied assortment of decorative objects comprising seven trinket boxes and two glass paperweights. The collection features a cobalt blue enamel circular box with gilded metal mounts, attributed to Halcyon Days, alongside several lacquered or decoupaged boxes decorated with feline and botanical motifs, consistent with Bilston and Battersea designs. Included is a hexagonal porcelain container with a raised floral relief lid and a turned wood egg-shaped vessel. The glass components consist of two clear spherical paperweights featuring internal lampwork inclusions, one depicting a multi-petalled green bloom and the other a white rose. The items represent various decorative techniques including enamel on copper, transfer-printed lacquer, and lampwork glass artistry.
