Description
This lot features a pair of large-scale industrial pendant light fixtures in the Holophane style, a design frequently utilised in mid-century automotive workshops, garages, and petrol station forecourts. These fixtures are comprised of heavy prismatic glass shades designed for optimal light refraction and diffusion, secured by metal mounting collars and protective wire frames. The acorn-shaped silhouette is a classic industrial design from the 1940s and 1950s. While no manufacturer marks are visible, the construction and quality are consistent with industrial luminaires produced by companies such as Crouse-Hinds or King Luminaire. One unit bears a small white inventory sticker with the text 5885.
