A Mixed Collection of Vintage Jewellery, Commemorative Medals, and Estate Curiosities
Description
A diverse assortment of vintage jewellery and miscellaneous collectibles. The jewellery component includes a yellow-metal ladies’ watch mounted upon a foliate-style brooch, a wide silver-toned cuff bracelet pave-set with numerous round-cut colourless stones, and an oval porcelain pendant or brooch featuring a polychrome painted scene. Also present are strands of white beads, a small yellow-metal cross pendant, and a silver-toned commemorative medal with a tricolour ribbon, housed in its original red presentation box marked for Fattorini & Sons, Bradford. The lot is further comprised of various non-jewellery items including black opera glasses, mechanical music box movements, a yellow-stemmed pipe, decorative glass and silver-toned tableware, and a Pepys Series card game. The metals include a variety of yellow and silver tones; in the absence of visible hallmarks, these are treated as base metals or plated unless otherwise stated. The colourless stones in the cuff bracelet appear to be paste or crystal.
