Lot 298:
A comprehensive collection of cut crystal and glass tableware including decanters, tumblers, and stemware
Description
This extensive assembly of decorative and functional glassware primarily features intricate diamond, star, and fan-cut patterns characteristic of traditional lead crystal. The collection includes three decanters of varying forms, each topped with a multifaceted spherical stopper; two of these are adorned with suspended metal liquor labels. The suite of drinking vessels comprises four large tumblers, one of which retains an original adhesive label for Cathedral Crystal, alongside an assortment of wine glasses and smaller aperitif stems featuring faceted or notched stems. Supplemental pieces include a small amber-coloured glass creamer, two miniature clear glass vessels, and a selection of small crystal and metal-toned figurines, including a faceted swan. The items represent a mix of manufacturers, likely including Bohemian and contemporary crystal houses such as Cathedral Crystal. Measurements: Decanters approximately 25cm to 30cm in height.
