A large English ironstone charger manufactured by Mason’s, featuring the iconic Vista pattern. The piece is decorated with an underglaze cobalt blue transfer-print on a cream earthenware body. The central scene depicts a romanticised architectural landscape with a grand manor house, figures, and terraces, surrounded by a dense border of grapevines and foliage. This pattern is a classic representation of mid-19th century British ceramic design. No maker’s marks are visible on the face; the reverse is fitted with a metal display hanger.
