A World War I Princess Mary Christmas gift tin, dated 1914, manufactured from embossed brass with a hinged lid. The lid is decorated with a central profile portrait of Princess Mary within a laurel wreath, flanked by “M” monograms. The design includes the inscriptions IMPERIUM BRITANNICUM and CHRISTMAS 1914. The outer border is embossed with the names of Allied nations, including France, Russia, Belgium, Servia, Japan, and Montenegro. The tin is of rectangular form with rounded corners.
