Triumph Limoges USA Rosalie Pattern Porcelain Tea Service with 22 Carat Gold Trim, Circa 1940s
Description
A vintage porcelain tea service manufactured by Triumph Limoges (USA) in the popular Rosalie pattern. This set features a warm cream-coloured glaze decorated with vibrant multi-coloured floral sprays and finished with an intricate filigree border in warranted 22 carat gold. The collection includes several teacups and saucers, square-shaped side plates, a milk creamer, and an open sugar bowl. Of particular note is the large square serving plate, which depicts a central scene of a figure in traditional eighteenth-century dress within a garden landscape, framed by the signature gold filigree. The bases feature a green manufacturer’s backstamp. This set exemplifies the mid-century American interpretation of classic European porcelain styles. Measurements: Largest plate approximately 22 centimetres wide.
