A partial tea service manufactured by Aynsley of England, crafted from fine bone china. The set features a sophisticated colour palette of pale mint green and cream, heavily embellished with broad gilt bands depicting intricate scrolling foliate and floral motifs. The service comprises six teacups, six saucers, a cream jug, and an open sugar bowl. Each piece bears the green underglaze Aynsley backstamp reading EST. 1775 AYNSLEY ENGLAND FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA surmounted by a crown. Additionally, the hand-painted pattern number 2896 M is present in gilt to the underside of the vessels. This set exemplifies the traditional English tea ware aesthetic of the mid-century period. Teacup height approximately 6.5 cm, saucer diameter approximately 14 cm, cream jug height approximately 10 cm.
