A decorative walking stick of South Asian origin, specifically characteristic of Kashmiri lacquerware. The handle features a simple, rounded pommel-style knob crafted from turned wood with a smooth, reddish-brown lacquered finish. The tapering wooden shaft is entirely encased in a black lacquer ground, intricately adorned with hand-painted floral and foliate patterns in vibrant shades of orange, red, and muted green.
