Corgi, Vanguards, and Matchbox, A Collection of Die-Cast Model Vehicles and Commemorative State Coach, Including Showmans Range and Advertising Liveries, Circa 1990-2000
Description
A diverse assortment of die-cast scale models featuring prominent British manufacturers and various commemorative themes. The collection includes a Vanguards 1:64 scale Ford Thames Trader Van finished in “Lucozade” advertising livery and a Corgi Classics “The Showmans Range” articulated truck for “Carters Gallopers”. Also present is a large Corgi commercial vehicle in “Whitbread” branding and a Matchbox Series 40th Anniversary Collection five-model set. Racing and classic motoring are represented by a 1992 Williams Renault FW 14B and a 1960 Jaguar Mk2, both housed in individual clear acrylic display cases with identifying labels. The lot is completed by a miniature gold-toned state coach with a team of eight white horses, presented on a decorative red velvet-lined base. The models are primarily constructed from die-cast metal with plastic detailing and authentic decals. The collection as pictured spans approximately 45 cm in width.
