Description
A vintage Tri-ang Railways RS.24 Blue Pullman train set, manufactured by Lines Bros Ltd. This OO gauge set features the iconic NBL Type 2 Blue Pullman diesel-electric multiple unit in its distinctive blue and white livery with Pullman branding. The set comprises a motor coach, a trailer coach, and a parlour car, constructed from plastic with metal components. Included is a quantity of curved track sections. The items are housed in the original red cardboard presentation box featuring a yellow divided card insert and a colour illustration on the lid depicting a family layout. The Blue Pullman was a celebrated luxury service on British Railways, and this model remains a staple for collectors of mid-century railwayana. Box measures approximately 41cm x 31cm.
