A mixed collection of vintage costume jewellery and assorted collectibles including a sunburst engine-turned compact and coral-style necklace
Description
This varied lot contains a selection of vintage costume jewellery and personal effects. Included is a multi-strand necklace or bracelet featuring coral-toned round and branch beads, which appear to be organic or glass in composition. The lot features a thin yellow metal band ring in a presentation box and several brooches with oval decorative inserts. Notable accessories include a large gold-tone circular compact with a sunburst engine-turned pattern, a rectangular silver-tone case, and various small pillboxes with pictorial lids. Also present are vintage wire-rimmed spectacles in a velvet-lined case marked H. Wade, Leeds, and several small decorative figurines and vintage tins. The metal components appear to be a mixture of gold-tone and white base metals or silver; no hallmarks are visible. The tray measures approximately 38 cm in length.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition, exhibiting surface scratches, wear, and oxidation consistent with age. Some metal items show significant tarnishing. The spectacle case displays heavy external wear.
