W G Sothers Ltd George V Silver plated and Lavender Guilloché Enamel Three-Piece Vanity Set
Description
A fine George V three-piece vanity set comprising a hand mirror, a hairbrush, and a rectangular clothes brush. Each piece is expertly crafted with vibrant lavender-purple guilloché enamel over a decorative engine-turned ground, set within silver plated mounts. The silver plated frames bear the hallmarks for W G Sothers Ltd (W.G.S LTD), The set reflects the elegant craftsmanship of the early 20th century. The hand mirror features a bevelled glass plate. Dimensions: Hand mirror length approximately 25.5 cm (10 inches).
Condition report:
The set is presented in good vintage condition. There are minor surface scratches and faint signs of wear to the enamel consistent with age and use. The silver plated components exhibit light tarnish but remain structurally sound. The bristles on both brushes appear well-maintained and intact.
