A Victorian style baby rattle and teething ring featuring a cream-coloured moulded celluloid ring fashioned with a Man in the Moon crescent profile. The ring is fitted with two silver bands, each suspending a silver bell rattle of rounded ovoid form. A visible mould seam is present along the interior and exterior edges of the ring, indicating the manufacturing process. One silver band bears a small hallmark punch, likely indicating silver purity.
