Silver-tone metal beaded necklace duo featuring stones appearing to be lapis lazuli and turquoise
Description
This lot comprises two single-strand beaded necklaces. The first necklace is composed of light blue, opaque stones in alternating tumbled square, rectangular, and oval shapes, which appear to be turquoise. The second necklace features a single strand of round, dark blue beads displaying white and gold-toned inclusions characteristic of stones appearing to be lapis lazuli. Both necklaces are finished with silver-tone metal clasps. No purity marks or maker’s hallmarks are visible; the metal is untested and appears to be silver-toned base metal. The construction suggests contemporary jewellery design with an ethnic influence. Lengths are approximately 45 to 50 centimetres.
