UK 19th-20th Century, A Lot of Mixed Coinage, Bronze and Cupro-Nickel
Description
British pre-decimal and decimal coinage lot. Includes 1965 Winston Churchill commemorative crowns (KM-910), reverse type by Oscar Nemon. Group contains various denominations including pennies, halfpennies, and cupro-nickel issues from multiple reigns. Includes one blue Yorkshire Bank promotional item.
Metal: Bronze, copper-alloy, and cupro-nickel
Condition report:
Mixed circulated grades. Older copper and bronze issues exhibit significant wear to high points and surfaces. Toning, surface marks, and instances of verdigris are present throughout the loose coinage. Commemorative crowns in holders show fewer signs of environmental distress but retain typical production marks.
