Assorted Makers, Collection of Eight Animal Figurines
Description
A collection of eight glazed ceramic and porcelain animal figurines by assorted makers. The lot comprises a seated Golden Retriever, a standing liver and white Spaniel, a standing Cairn or West Highland Terrier, a standing Scottish Terrier in a black glaze, a standing orange and white Basset Hound, a reclining long-haired dog, a standing Pointer or Setter, and a small sleeping tabby cat. Each piece features hand-painted decorative details under a high-gloss finish. No factory marks or model numbers are visible from the primary viewing angle, though the figures are reminiscent of mid-century Japanese and British pottery such as SylvaC or Beswick. Height of tallest: 14 cm.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good vintage condition. No significant chips, cracks, or structural breaks are apparent from frontal inspection. No obvious signs of restoration. Minor shelf wear to the bases and light surface crazing consistent with age may be present.
