Description
An Art Nouveau style cameo glass table lamp in the manner of Émile Gallé. The piece features a classic mushroom-shaped shade resting upon a matching tapered base. Both components are crafted from multi-layered acid-etched glass, showcasing intricate dark red floral and foliate motifs in relief against a frosted amber-yellow ground. The lamp is signed Gallé in cameo on both the shade and the base. It is fitted with metal spider hardware and an integrated electrical cord. Total height: approximately 15 inches.
Condition report:
The glass shade and base appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions. The metal hardware shows minor surface oxidisation consistent with age.
