Gold-tone and Simulated Tortoiseshell Bangle Set, Pair of Wide Concave Bangles with Decorative Casket
Description
A pair of vintage wide circular bangles, each featuring a pronounced concave profile. The bangles are crafted from a translucent honey-coloured material with dark brown and black mottling, designed to simulate natural tortoiseshell. They are of solid, continuous form with no clasp. Accompanied by a small, rectangular, dome-topped casket or snuff box with a matching tortoiseshell-effect exterior. The box is embellished with applied gold-tone metal wirework in a grid pattern, accented with metal studs and a central blank rectangular cartouche. The casket stands on four metal ball feet and is lined with a pale green moiré silk. The bangles are presented in a blue textured jewellery box with a purple velvet and white satin interior. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible. Internal tag numbered 6182. Length/weight: Not provided.

The bangles appear to be in good vintage condition with a smooth, polished finish and no significant chips or cracks. The decorative casket shows minor age-related wear to the exterior.
