Description
An assortment of vintage and modern sewing buttons, buckles, and related notions. The collection features a diverse array of materials including moulded plastic, mother-of-pearl, various metals, wood, and glass in a multitude of sizes, colours, and designs. Notable items include several large rectangular plastic and shell-effect buckles, decorative metal buttons, and numerous four-hole and shank-style buttons. A portion of the items are organised within small plastic bags. Visible text includes French laundering instructions on a tag reading LAVER A LA MACHINE A L’EAU TIEDE and a small sticker marked 6/82.
Condition report:
The items appear in varied, used condition as a bulk lot. Some pieces exhibit surface wear, minor scratching, and patina consistent with age and previous use.
