Description

A Line 6 Spider I 112 digital modelling guitar combo amplifier, representing the first generation of the influential Spider series. The unit is housed in a sturdy cabinet wrapped in black tolex, featuring reinforced plastic corner protectors and a top-mounted carrying handle. The distinctive metallic red front-mounted control panel distinguishes this early model, providing a user interface for five digital amp models: Clean, Twang, Blues, Crunch, and Insane. The amplifier is equipped with Smart Control FX, allowing the user to select and adjust Chorus, Flange, Tremolo, Delay, and Tape Echo, complemented by a dedicated Reverb dial and master volume. The speaker is protected by a grey and black woven grille cloth, adorned with a silver-toned oval badge featuring the spider graphic at the centre. Connectivity includes a standard 1/4 inch guitar input, a headphone jack for silent monitoring, and an RJ-45 pedal connection for use with Line 6 floor controllers. This 50-watt unit was a pioneer in bringing versatile digital DSP modelling to the consumer market at the turn of the millennium.

Condition report:

The amplifier appears in used condition. The black tolex exterior shows visible surface dust and minor scuffs to the corner protectors. There is significant wear and surface scratching to the central silver-toned spider logo badge. All rotary control knobs, the power toggle switch, and the carrying handle appear to be original and intact. The unit has not been tested for electronic functionality or output. No power cable or additional accessories are present.
