Wharfedale Glendale 3 Passive Stereo Speakers, 1970s
Description
A pair of vintage Wharfedale Glendale 3 high-fidelity passive stereo speakers, manufactured by Rank Wharfedale Ltd in Bradford, England, circa 1975. These speakers feature a three-way design housed in wood veneer cabinets with dark textured fabric grills and metal Wharfedale “W” logos. Although the units are Glendale 3 models, they are accompanied by an original instruction manual for the Wharfedale Linton 2 model.
Condition report:
The working status is untested; the items are sold as-is for restoration or collection. The wood veneer cabinets are in good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. The fabric grills are largely intact, though one exhibits a minor snag near the lower-right corner. As passive speakers, they do not feature dials, tubes, or integrated power cords.
