A Trio of Goebel Hummel Figurines Including Weary Wanderer
Description
A trio of hand-painted ceramic figurines produced by Goebel. The collection includes the Weary Wanderer (model 204) depicting a girl with a walking stick and polka-dot bag, a shepherd boy with lambs, and a boy with a basket of chicks. The figures are decorated in earth tones with matte and glazed details. The bases display authenticating Goebel backstamps, including the blue V with bee trademark and W. Germany text. One base is incised with the number 203 and a 1948 date.
