Description
A collection of four furniture items attributed to the Victorian period style, likely constructed of dark-stained wood simulating rosewood. The lot comprises two matching side chairs, one fully upholstered side chair, and one occasional table. The two matching chairs feature highly stylized, curvilinear open backrests, consistent with the balloon back form, and upholstered seats finished in a mustard yellow velvet or velour fabric. The third chair features turned legs, ornate carved stretchers, and a fully upholstered back detailed with decorative brass nailhead trim along the edges. The occasional table has a scalloped, rectangular wood top resting on a stylized base. Small white inventory stickers are visible on the frame of one curved chair and on the edge of the table.
