Description
Two hand-painted English bone china figurines. The first is a Royal Doulton Cissie HN1809 figurine, depicting a figure in a lavender skirt with a floral bodice and bonnet holding a bouquet. The base of this piece is marked Joan and Made in England. The second is a Coalport Penelope figurine, featuring a woman in a voluminous pink floral gown and a black hat. The underside of the Coalport piece bears the manufacturer’s mark including Bone China, Coalport, Made in England, Est. 1750, and the title Penelope. Both items exhibit a high-gloss glazed finish with hand-painted floral details.
