Description
A trio of Royal Doulton glazed ceramic character jugs produced in England. The collection includes the Pied Piper, Capt Henry Morgan, and Mine Host models. The Pied Piper jug, D6403, copyright 1953, is modeled with a pipe-form handle. The Capt Henry Morgan jug, D6467, copyright 1957, features a handle shaped as a treasure chest. The Mine Host jug is depicted in a dark tricorn hat with a gray wig. All pieces are hand-painted and marked on the base with the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, model titles, and registration numbers.
