A Collection of 6 Pieces of Traditional Dutch Wooden Folk Art and Household Items
Description
A collection of six pieces of traditional wooden folk art and household items, primarily associated with Dutch culture (Holland). The collection includes one pair of unfinished, light-toned carved wooden clogs (klompen). Also present is one small, decorated wooden shoe brush featuring pyrography depicting a windmill, scrollwork, and the script text “Holland.” The collection further includes two small wooden benches or stools: one dark-stained piece featuring cabriole-style feet, and one lighter, simpler small bench bearing a visible sticker marked ‘6182’. The final item is a circular, dark-stained wooden bowl with an incised leaf or scroll design around the rim. The items are handmade and traditional in style.
