A Collection of 13 Cut Crystal and Decorative Glass Objects, Mid-to-Late 20th Century
Description
A collection of thirteen items primarily composed of clear and iridescent crystal and glass, spanning functional containers and contemporary decorative figurines. The functional items include a large, deep cut glass bowl featuring a cross-hatch or diamond pattern; a pair of matching cut glass vases with tapered necks and geometric cutting; and a lidded, ribbed glass jar, possibly a candy dish or sugar bowl. A tall, cylindrical Galileo thermometer is included, containing five multi-colored floating spheres, and bears a visible white label marked “9209”. The decorative items comprise four rectangular black mirrored glass panels, each featuring a seated Buddha design; a clear/iridescent crystal lotus flower figurine, likely intended as a candle holder; an iridescent crystal dolphin figurine; a small rectangular crystal block featuring internal 3D laser engraving of an architectural structure; and a large iridescent faceted crystal drop or gem shape.
