A collection of 18 assorted antique and vintage accessories and implements, identified primarily as Victorian and French Aide d’Memoires, Etuis, and necessaire components. This group represents a treat of Victorian tortoiseshell items offered for spares and repairs. The materials are predominately tortoiseshell, horn, or dark celluloid/plastic materials, displaying various mottled and dark finishes. The collection includes hinged cases, rectangular boxes, broad spatulas or paddles, and small tools. Several pieces are decorated with intricate silver or mother-of-pearl piqué work, featuring foliate, floral, and scroll patterns.
