Description
The collection consists of 24 pieces of assorted vintage and antique doll components, suitable for restoration or salvage. The materials utilized span several decades, including composition, celluloid, hard plastic, and vinyl. The lot includes four mostly-intact seated doll figures: two nude Caucasian-toned dolls with rooted hair (one with dark hair, one with blonde hair); one black-toned doll appearing to be composition or early plastic, wearing a red knit sweater and white dress; and one nude headless torso of a modern plastic doll. The remaining 20 items comprise various detached body sections, torsos, heads, and limbs, representing a range of sizes and skin tones. Notable parts include several large plastic torsos, one small pink composition doll body, one composition body with a fabric mid-section, and numerous detached arms and legs, some with metal hooks for stringing.
