A late 19th to early 20th-century American Victorian style platform rocking chair. The frame is constructed from dark-stained wood, possibly oak, featuring turned elements on the arms, legs, and stretchers. The chair is upholstered with a multi-panel tapestry or needlepoint fabric in a deep teal or blue-green color, adorned with ornate floral and foliate motifs in shades of orange, yellow, and green. A small, illegible white tag is affixed to the upper back upholstery.
