Three Traditional Style Footstools
Description
This lot comprises three antique or vintage footstools each exhibiting a traditional aesthetic. The leftmost stool is of a square-to-rectangular form, upholstered in brown velvet or plush fabric, and edged with a complementary tassel fringe. It stands on four turned wooden legs with bun feet. Positioned centrally at the back is a rectangular stool featuring light-colored, possibly petit point or needlepoint, upholstery with a delicate floral motif. This is set within an exposed dark wood frame that includes scrolled arms and turned legs. In the foreground, a rectangular footstool is upholstered in dark blue needlepoint, adorned with a large central floral medallion and border design, accented with brass nailhead trim along its perimeter, and supported by carved wooden cabriole-style legs.
