A Georgian Style Mahogany Bow-Front Cocktail Cabinet on Chest
Description
A two-part furniture piece crafted from dark reddish-brown mahogany or mahogany veneer, consistent with a late 18th-century Georgian or Neoclassical revival style. The upper section comprises a cocktail or bar cabinet featuring two panelled doors, which open to reveal a mirrored interior with a glass shelf and a base adorned with a central circular inlay. The lower section is a bow-front chest fitted with four graduated drawers, each with brass bail handles and backplates. The whole stands on bracket feet. A small white label with black numerals is affixed to the right door of the upper cabinet.
