Description
A vintage ornate brass letter holder, exhibiting a strong Baroque or Rococo revival style with extensive scrollwork, small figural cherub embellishments, and a prominent shell motif on the integrated dish at its base. Accompanying this is a Jerger rectangular alarm or desk clock, featuring a gold-tone metal casing with a carry handle and decorative finials on top. The clock’s white face displays a mix of Roman (XI, XII, I) and Arabic numerals (2, 4, 8, 10) with elaborate hands, and is clearly marked ‘Jerger’ on the dial and ‘Made in Germany’ below the 6 o’clock position.
