Description
A vintage carved and painted wooden articulated elephant figure, likely executed in a folk art style. The item is constructed from segmented wooden pieces forming the body, head with prominent ears, trunk, and four legs, joined by visible mechanisms or ropes for articulation. Its natural wood tone is decorated with painted motifs, including a broad red outline simulating a saddle on its back, filled with carved rectangular patterns highlighted by alternating blue and orange dots. A cream-colored rope is fastened around the elephant’s neck and extends upwards. A white adhesive label displaying the handwritten number “6182” in blue marker is affixed to the elephant’s back.
