Description
A Vintage French Louis XV Style Brevetatto Italy three-piece clock garniture set, crafted from gilt bronze (ormolu) and polished reddish-pink veined marble. The central mantel clock features an architectural case adorned with extensive scrolling foliage, garlands, martial trophies, and numerous putti figures. It houses a circular white dial with black Roman numerals; any maker’s inscription or additional text on the dial is not clearly legible. Flanking the clock are a pair of five-light candelabra, mirroring the clock’s ornate decorative style. Each candelabrum rises from an elaborate gilt bronze base supported by paw feet, adorned with complementary scrolling foliage and putti figures. The overall design exhibits a blend of classical, Rococo, and Neoclassical elements.
