Description
An early 20th century external-horn gramophone, featuring a large, off-white horn, likely ceramic or painted metal, decorated with radial fluting and an embossed border. The central mechanism, including a black turntable and metal tone arm with a hand crank, is housed in a polished, light brown wooden cabinet, likely oak. A black shellac record is present on the turntable. Accompanying the unit is a collection of approximately ten 78 RPM records in worn paper sleeves, one clearly bearing ‘Columbia The Finest Name on’.
