Description
A Royal Doulton Art Nouveau naturalistic leaf design vase, circa 1906. This double-gourd shaped ceramic vase features an organic design, with its body adorned with raised, intertwined tendril-like patterns and several larger, applied or integrated leaf motifs glazed in shades of brown and orange. These elements are set against a mottled, glossy background glaze of earthy tones. The base bears impressed or incised markings including “G.R.I.D.”, “L.D. 635”, and “7F CO.”.
