An 18th Century Chinese Imari Porcelain Bowl, Kangxi Period
Description
An 18th Century Chinese Imari Porcelain Bowl, Kangxi Period, decorated with polychrome enamels, primarily in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red, with subtle gilt accents. The exterior features an Imari-inspired design of blossoming flowers on branches and a bird, while the interior displays a small, central floral motif in blue and red. The base reveals a glazed foot rim and a glazed central area. Affixed to the base is a cream-colored label reading “VAUXHALL c1755.”
