Lot 4:
An Okra Studio Cameo Glass Vase, depicting a sailing ship
Description
An Okra Studio cameo glass vase, of bulbous form with a flared neck, crafted from polychrome blown glass. The surface exhibits textural variations consistent with applied glass or acid-etching techniques, with iridescent qualities. Its decoration depicts a sailing ship navigating turbulent seas under a gradient sky, transitioning from dark blues and blacks at the base to oranges and yellows mid-body, and greenish-browns at the rim. The underside of the vase bears an etched signature, partially legible as “Ser… O…” followed by the number “50.”
