Description

An early Worcester porcelain saucer, circa 1755, decorated in an Imari-style palette. This circular, shallow glazed porcelain dish features primary colors of cobalt blue and iron red/orange, accented by a distinctive pink/purple band on the rim. The decoration includes stylized floral sprays, scrolling foliage, and mythical bird-like figures. The underside reveals a raised foot rim and a glazed base with no discernible maker’s marks or text, only a faint blue smudge near the foot.
