Flight & Barr Worcester Spiral Fluted Porcelain Trio, circa 1790
Description
A Flight & Barr Worcester spiral fluted porcelain trio, circa 1790. Comprising a fluted teacup with a handle, a matching saucer, and a small bowl. Each piece features a distinct fluted or swirled exterior texture, a scalloped rim, and is decorated with purple or maroon floral and scrollwork motifs, accented with gold gilt that also trims the rims and the cup’s handle. The underside of the saucer displays a small yellow circular sticker marked “S 2.”
