Description

This lot comprises two ceramic vessels, likely stoneware, characterized by an earthy, speckled glaze in cream, beige, and brown tones, indicative of a studio pottery style. The larger item is a lidded, circular pot or casserole dish with two integrated loop handles, featuring a lighter interior glaze with concentric ring patterns. This piece is visually consistent with examples of ‘Mannon Signed Pottery serving Dish and Lid’ found in market research. The smaller, circular bowl or dish is distinguished by a raised, sculptural, organic applied decoration resembling clusters of berries or seed pods within its interior. The underside of the smaller dish bears an incised mark, possibly a stylized ‘M’ or artist’s signature.
