Description

A pair of Liverpool porcelain sparrow beak jugs, circa 1800. Both are adorned with underglaze cobalt blue decoration on a white ground. The jug on the left exhibits a dense floral and foliate pattern. Its base bears a blue, handwritten-style script mark, possibly initials such as “M.L.” or “Mal.” The second jug, positioned on the right, features a landscape design including pagodas, trees, and water. No other discernible text or manufacturer’s marks are visible on the second piece.
