A Royal Doulton Ware Ceramic Vase
Description
A ceramic vase by Royal Doulton, featuring an ovoid body, short neck, and flaring rim. Its surface is adorned with a naturalistic, incised or molded botanical design of fern-like fronds in shades of rust and dark brown, set against a variegated, iridescent glaze in hues of olive green, gold, and light brown. The unglazed base reveals a light tan clay body and bears an impressed circular mark, partially legible, that appears to read “ROYAL DOULTON ” with a crown motif and a central stylized letter, alongside a smaller impressed mark resembling an inverted ‘FF’.
