An Early Spode Blue and White Pearlware Plate with Scalloped Rim
Description
An early Spode blue and white pearlware plate, featuring a lobed, scalloped rim and underglaze decoration. The central well displays scattered cobalt blue floral and foliate sprays, while the border is adorned with a continuous pattern of stylized florets and cruciform elements. The reverse bears an impressed ‘SPODE’ mark, alongside three circular collection labels: ‘ANTHONY BUNCE COLLECTION 32’, ‘ALLEN GRACE COLLECTION 38’, and ‘GEOFFREY FISK COLLECTION 959’.
