Lot 116:
Walter Stephen Pisgah Forest Pottery Turquoise-Blue Crackle Glaze Vase
Description
A Walter Stephen Pisgah Forest Pottery vase of globular form with a short, flared neck and rim, finished with a vibrant turquoise-blue crackle glaze. The base features an impressed, stylized ‘P’ mark. An aged paper label with handwritten text “PILKINGTON” and “1905-1914” is also present on the base, which appears to be an earlier, potentially incorrect, attribution.
Height: 10.5 cm (4 inches)
