An antique Singer 28K manual sewing machine, dating to 1899 (serial number 1655958), featuring the distinctive ‘Scrolls and Roses’ gold-tone decal pattern. Constructed from black-painted cast iron, the machine is set upon a polished wooden base. Visible branding includes “Singer Manufactg. Co.” on the arm and a “SINGER” logo on the machine bed. The machine is accompanied by its original dark-stained wooden domed carrying case, also bearing the “SINGER” logo.
